Barnstead Glass Still

For single distillation of source water or quality improvement of stored, deionized or demineralized water. Can be used as part of an automatic, continuous water purification system.

Constructed of inert PYREX* and VYCOR* labware for all wet surfaces, with fluoropolymer resin stopcock plugs. Employs VYCOR immersion heaters. Vertical condenser vent allows volatile gasses to escape before they condense and contaminate water. Constant water level chamber prevents overfilling. Automatic shutdown if water level gets too low. High temperature cut-off switch protects from overheating. Feed and cooling water shut off automatically if power is lost. Panel-mounted, lighted push-button controls.
